Before hopping into battle, players can navigate to the landing craft on their home screen.
From here you can select which troops you’d like to be in your Battle Deck, which is essentially a loadout of characters players can take into battle.
Once you go into battle you will have up to 10 seconds to select the troop of your choosing that you’ve preselected from your Battle Deck. Take note that on top of the map you can see what your other teammates have selected, allowing you to fill any role you think your teammates might be lacking.
Spawn Zone
Once the game begins you will be placed in your team’s respective spawn zone. It’s from here that you are able to purchase any Power-ups and Vehicles that are available during that specific match.
In order to purchase Power-ups and vehicles, you will need to accumulate the required Munitions over the course of the battle. Munitions are gained over time as well as earned through damaging enemies, healing allies, destroying defences, and capturing points, etc.
Entering the enemy spawn zone
If you enter an opponent’s spawn zone you will have a death countdown timer of 5 seconds. After which you will die instantly. Do not do that, that is silly.
Power-up and Vehicle notes
Few points about Power-ups and Vehicles
You can only carry one Power-up at a time. Until it is deployed you cannot pick up another. Some Power-ups have team-based cooldowns once used.
You cannot build a defence if you are holding a power-up.
You can enter a vehicle as a passenger with a power-up.
Vehicles are limited by Vehicle Stations (spawn points for vehicles)
Vehicles go on personal cooldown once used (from 30 sec for Armored Car, to 60 sec for the likes of Tank)
Once you are in a vehicle as a driver you cannot exit until it is destroyed. Passengers (in 4x4 and APC etc.) can join/leave as they please.
Cover
Around each map, you’ll find various barricades in strategic places that can allow you to gain an upper hand on your opponent. To utilize cover make sure your troop is standing on the opposite side of your enemy and close enough to show the yellow indication outline that will appear on your troop.
While your troop is in this state they have a 75% damage reduction from direct hits (applies to all bullets and some other sources of damage). Damage from nearby Area of Effect explosions, fire, etc. will still deal full damage even when you’re in cover.
Below you can see an example of when your character is not in cover.
Pop-up Messages
There are several ways that you can communicate with other players on your team by tapping on various elements of the UI or map.
Below you can find some communication commands:
Double-tap Medic: "Thanks doc" with a ❤️
Double-tap a teammate: "Nice one" with 👍🏼
Double-tap yourself: "Assist me!"
Double-tap an enemy troop/vehicle/defense (or headquarter): Signalize that you want to attack there (a 🗡️ appears where you double-tapped)
Double-tap your headquarter/defense: Signalize you want to protect it (a 🛡️ appears)
Double-tap a sandbag: "Cover!" and an icon pops up on the sandbag
Double-tap a non-taken vehicle: "Grab a vehicle!!"
Double-tap somewhere else: Makes an ❗️ appear there
Tap on A/B (on the top left corner of your screen): "➡️ A/B“ if no headquarter is built, signalize to attack/protect like mentioned above if the enemies/your team had built the headquarter.
Squads
Games are always better with friends! In addition to pinging your teammates with pop-up messages, you can also add players through friend codes or the scoreboard (at the end of a game) so that you can squad up.
You can invite up to 2 players to squad up.

Below: When someone joins your Squad or you join another you'll see an indicator for who is in your Squad and an option to leave it.
Below: This is what you can expect to see once you've exited out of your Squad/Friends window. Here you will be able to select Ready! or Unready! by tapping the button which will change your status and indicate such to those in your Squad.
